SPLICEDwire is on hiatus
Dear friends and readers,
Due to several converging circumstances, including family obligations and hitting a wall of exhaustion after 10 years of 70-hour work weeks (and more than 2,500 reviews and interviews), I'm putting SPLICEDwire and my content service on indefinite hiatus beginning September 30.
I will still be attending some screenings, as I will probably to return to film journalism -- perhaps in a new format or with a new focus -- once I've rested and my obligations are resolved.

IN THE MEANTIME...
Here's the scoop:
Action movie very, very loosely based on Domino Harvey, who quit her privileged life as a model to become a bounty hunter. Written by Richard Kelly ("Donnie Darko"), so I'm holding out a little hope, even though word is they've changed Harvey's sexual orientation to make the movie sell better.

The film features a diverse supporting cast including Lucy Liu, Christopher Walken, Mena Suvari, Mickey Rourke, Jacqueline Bisset and Delroy Lindo.
